Steno Machine Cleaning Available at Convention
If you missed the opportunity to have your machine cleaned and tuned up at the past two conventions, don’t worry. You will have another opportunity in Stevens Point. Steve Worth, from Worth Business Equipment near Chicago, will be present on-site to do machine cleaning and tune-ups. He will be available on Friday, September 21st starting at 11:00 a.m. until Sunday at noon. He works on most steno machines, with a couple of exceptions. This has been a very popular addition to our conventions over the past year because drop-off and pick-up are within hours and you don’t have to worry about it getting damaged during shipping. If a reporter knows that they need a specific part or parts (paper tray, tripod, display, etc.), he would like to have that information beforehand so that he can bring those parts with him. Each cleaning takes from 45 minutes to an hour to complete. We have heard many compliments regarding his service. The cost will be $208 + cost of parts. Schedule a time to bring your machine in with Steve directly. Spaces are limited. You may contact him at (773) 777- 1474 or at worth4154@msn.com.
